3cc (3ml) 18G x 1 1/2" Luer-Lock Syringe & Hypodermic Needle Combo (50 pack)

I cannot believe how BAD this syringe is compared to Amazon's-sterile-but-not-medical-grade-syringes I was recently warned away from by my doctor!!

I have four major complaints about this syringe.

1. The measurement gradations are hard to see when filling because there is not enough distinction between the major and the minor marks to view past the surface tension of the medicine.

2. The placement of the thumbgrips on the barrel of the syringe does not allow for viewing of the measurement gradations because the thumbgrips are centered 90 degrees off from where they should be to allow ease of viewing while holding.

3. There is an observable amount of medicine left in the syringe even after completely pushing the plunger to its stop point. For small doses, this is terrible. How much is left in the syringe? How can we even get an accurate dose, let alone not waste any of the expensive medications?

4. And WORST, the plunger does not glide smoothly either when filling or when injecting. It is forgivable when filling because I can squirt some back into the vial, but this can be quite painful for the plunger to grip, then jump, then grip again partway through the injection in my muscle.

The presumably inferior sterile but not medical-grade syringes I have received from Amazon have none of these problems. I would love to hear recommendations from customers of this site about a similarly sized syringe that they are happy with.
